Aim a cannon, bounce a ball through the pegs and clear the yellow targets before your shots run out. Chain reactions earn bigger scores.

Your first game

Get ChainDemo.py from the main branch of the repository linked above.
You need Python 3. Open an Ubuntu terminal in the file's folder, at least 104 columns by 48 rows, and run python3 ChainDemo.py. No extra Python packages are needed.
Use left/right to aim, Space to fire and Q to quit. The title screen explains the other controls.

The Windows console is untested. This is a work-in-progress build, not a finished game release.

No verified runs yet. Try a daily run, finish all three boards and submit the completed CH17 run code. Only runs that replay successfully appear here.

Submit a completed run

A GitHub account is needed to submit. Your issue and run code are public. Use a display name, not personal details.

Board rules and score checks

UK date (Europe/London). A run counts for its own UK day and the day after. Codes for future dates are rejected.

Current engine: CH17. Only CH17 codes are accepted. Codes from earlier versions no longer verify.

Scores come from replaying the code with the pinned game, not from a player's claimed score. Verified by exact replay. Not human-verified. Not AI-proof. A bot can clear boards, so a score does not prove a person played.

Up to five verified entries per author per date and five failed codes per author. The board keeps each author's best score for each day. Issue edits are checked on the next refresh.
